As an independent school, Salisbury Academy is responsible for its own funding. Â
Tuition serves as our primary source of revenue, but it does not cover the total cost of a Salisbury Academy education. Therefore, we rely on charitable gifts to both balance the yearly budget and provide long-term financial sustainability for the school.

The Salisbury Academy Fund
The Salisbury Academy Fund is a yearly campaign that supports areas of excellence in our program not covered by the cost of annual tuition. The fund provides an opportunity for those who support our mission to express gratitude. Participation is encouraged from all stakeholders including current and former parents, grandparents, trustees, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends. Donations of any amount are welcome, and every gift counts.
Corporate Partnership
The Corporate Partnership Program is a way for businesses to advertise with the Salisbury Academy community and beyond, all while supporting the school's commitment to inspiring a love of learning and preparing passionate leaders.
Three levels of partnership are available: Gold $7,500, Silver $5,000 and Bronze $1,500
Unlocking Possibilities Capital Campaign
The first phase of Unlocking Possibilities has already come to life with the completion of the Community Connection Center — now a vibrant hub for learning, connection, and community engagement. From workshops and guest speakers to partnerships that extend beyond our campus, this space is actively enriching the Salisbury Academy experience for students, families, and the broader community.
Looking ahead, the next exciting phase will expand our capacity to serve and grow. Plans include the creation of a Student Enrichment Center, along with thoughtful renovations of existing spaces at Gloria Dei to support expanded offices, tutoring areas, after-school care, arts programming, and more.
With a goal of $1.25 million, this next phase will ensure that Salisbury Academy continues to thrive — providing the space and resources needed to support our students, strengthen our programs, and deepen our impact for years to come.
Opening Doors Capital Campaign
In the spring of 2022, Salisbury Academy launched the Opening Doors capital campaign with a fundraising goal of $3 million.
With goals of programming expansion, community partnerships, and financial sustainability, Opening Doors was inspired by the greater Rowan-Salisbury area and the connections and learning opportunities within it.
The campaign raised over $2.5 million and succeeded in:
- Launching a new 3K program
- Launching the SA Upper School for grades 9-12
- Purchasing the Gloria Dei property and expanding SA's main campus footprint by 4.39 acres.
- Completing campus master planning for Salisbury Academy
