If you step into a third grade class at Salisbury Academy, you may see silent communication mixed in with all the noise. The school has integrated American Sign Language into the curriculum for third graders. They use it often for some things such as getting the teacher’s attention or asking to go to the bathroom. 

 Salisbury Academy has been fundraising via an annual auction for 12 years, and this year’s auction will keep the tradition online. This will be the second year for the online, silent format of the fundraiser. Last year, a live auction was scheduled for March before being postponed and moved to an online format in April.…
