Athletics at Salisbury Academy

Confidence. Character. Jaguar Spirit.

Athletics at Salisbury Academy are more than competition—they’re a vital part of each student’s Jaguar Journey.

From kindergarten track and field to Upper School varsity sports, our program builds confidence, resilience, and teamwork. Students grow as athletes and leaders, representing their school with integrity and passion. Whether trying a sport for the first time or competing at a championship level, all Jaguars are challenged to bring their best and uplift their team.

As a member of the Foothills Association of Middle School Athletics Conference, Salisbury Academy offers a wide range of sports throughout the year, including:

Fall: Co-ed Soccer, Cross Country, Girls Tennis, Girls Volleyball
Winter: Basketball, Cheerleading, Swimming
Spring: Golf, Track & Field, Girls Soccer, Boys Tennis, Flag Football

Our athletes learn to win with humility, lose with grace, and lead with heart—on and off the field.

The Jaguar Journey begins here.

"I tried cross country my freshman year just to see what would happen—and that’s what I love about SA. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You can jump in, try something new, and compete right away. Now I’ve found my favorite sports—swimming and tennis—and I play two seasons a year. Our teams are competitive, our coaches push us, and it feels like everyone is invested in helping you grow. It’s a great balance of opportunity and challenge."

“Every Jaguar athlete in our 3K-12 community is challenged to grow along the Jaguar Journey. Through competitive Upper School athletics for grades 9-12, middle school teams for grades 5-8, and specialty offerings for K-4, students develop in skill, sportsmanship, and heart. Salisbury Academy athletics shape resilient leaders who compete with confidence, support their teammates, and carry the lessons of the field into every area of life.”
— Coach Tommy Wilson, Athletic Director
